Prior to joining QMA as Chief Executive Officer, Mansoor Al Khater was the Executive Director of the Strategy Group at Qatar Telecom (Qtel), where he was responsible for the overall development of the strategy, vision, values and functions of the company. In this time, Mansoor developed a high quality strategic plan, making Qtel one of the leading telecommunications companies in the region. Before that, he worked with Qatar Petroleum, the national Oil & Gas Company of Qatar, and held the position of Head of Strategic Planning - Dukhan Operations, with the senior executive management team in Qatar Petroleum. Mansoor has more than 16 years experience in the industry.

He also served on the boards of several international and national organizations and initiatives, such as ARABSAT (Arab Satellite Communications Organization), ictQATAR Strategy, and Qatar Academy in Al Wakra, among others.

Mansoor Al Khater studied mechanical engineering and also holds a Master of Business Administration.

Ms. Sharoq Al-Malki is the Chief Human Capital Officer at Qatar Museums Authority. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Policy and Administration from the reputed University of Nottingham, UK. Currently she is a Doctor of Philosophy candidate in Business Administration, Specialization: Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the US. Ms. Al-Malki is a specialist in performance management, employee engagement, and talent management. In her capacity with the HR and Administration Departments, she has regularly commenced policies conducive to the best interests of employees and the organization. Ms. Al-Malki is a proven leader with an exceptional ability to transform policies into corporate programs and organizational initiatives.

Phil joined QMA in August 2010 from Al Jazeera Network where he worked for 3 years as Director of Global Distribution. At Al Jazeera, Phil oversaw the aggressive roll-out of the broadcaster's channels and licensed content, in particular the Al Jazeera English channel which climbed from a global reach of 90 million homes to 200 million households during Phil's tenure. Prior to this, Phil worked for 7 years at Turner Broadcasting (CNN) in London, latterly as Vice-President Commercial Distribution & Digital Media, and before that spent 6 years at American Express working in various management roles in Amex's card and travel divisions.

Dr. Dana Al Malki

Following her earning a PhD in Information Engineering from the United Kingdom, Dr Dana Al Malki joined QMA in 2007 in the position of Deputy Director of Information Technology.  Throughout her career at Qatar Museums Authority, Dr Dana Al Malki has provided leadership in creating department structure, policies and team building.  Her efforts were instrumental in setting up the Information Technology Department at Qatar Museums Authority.  She has also led the development and implementation of QMA and MIA websites including QMAlive portals which have earned Arab e-government website award.  She has also been involved in envisioning and implementing technology to best exhibit museum objects and artifacts to enhance visitor experience and established backbone network infrastructure connecting QMA museums and venues.
